TiMidity spielt MIDI and Module (.MOD) Dateien. Es wird in Software ausgefuehrt ohne einen Hardwaresupport der Soundkarte fЭr MIDI. Die Soundqualitaet kann dabei deutlich besser sein, weil es nur durch die CPU-Power und dem Angebot an Hauptspeicher begrenzt ist.
