Kyocera Ecosys FS-C5015N colour laser printer

Mark: Very good

The printer delivers excellent output. It has a standard input tray which holds a furr ream of paper. I meets the latest environmental standards and has a deep-sleep standby mode.

I obtained a postscript PPD file from the Australian Kyocera support staff, but the printer works well using the drivers included in the latest Laserjet and Postscript drivers.

With the postscript driver I am able to print all types of file. However the laserjet driver does not seem to print images from such files as PDF. It works well well with text files and word-processing output.

I will now work on importing the printer's postscript file into the IBM postscript package, so that I can use the driver written for the printer.
