I am trying to get eCS 2.0 beta RC4 to work on an HP Pavilion dv9628ca. So far it is working well. There is one major problem.

The notebook has two lan chips:

• an intel pro wireless 9542abg -- works well with the genmac wrapper driver.
• realtek 8139/8101 -- does not work at all. The driver complains that no such lan exists, (pciscan begs to differ and reports its presence).

Both lans work under Windows (VISTA Home)
