Vantec NextStar CX SATA enclosure for USB and eSATA

I put a Western Digital 640 GB SATA drive into it, and it works with both the USB, and the eSATA interfaces. The 640 GB drive support is not perfect. It will work fine as a data drive, but Boot Manager won't set up properly on it (that appears to be a fault in LVM).

The eSATA interface needs to be connected/disconnected with machine power down, but it works with eCS 2.0 GA.

If your machine doesn't have an eSATA connector on it, there is a back panel adapter, that plugs into a normal SATA connector on the motherboard, that comes with it.
