Qnap TS-219P+ works well here with eCS. Even EA's can be made to work with it...

I have a document from Heiko Nitzsche with detailed instructions, but simplistically, it's a matter of enabling file system support for xattr, and editing smb.conf to turn on EA support.

Noting of course that EA's are limited to 4k in size per the ext3/4 file system limitation.
