While a developer is debugging software for eComStation, a dozen of well-wishers are distributing myths and lie about the system, fill up the forums with advertisement papers from competitors.

To withstand the black PR, we opened new site: eComStation Myths (the 1-st page is aimed at interested guests, the 2-nd is for eComStation and OS/2 Warp users which have doubts)

eCo Labs - more and more tasks

eCo Labs is a fund to attract new developers to eComStation. We are trying to share the income with standalone developers; stimulate the development of new PM-controls and libraries. Moreover, we are going update the portal for developers and enrich it with links and libraries.

You are right, the cost of the trip to Dusseldorf may be very high for you. 300 EURO.. 500 EURO.. 1000 EURO.. or more.

What is the reason to spend so much money?

1. The trip is successful if you communicate with people, make questions and collect ideas. Are you ready to make the efforts?

The workshop is a good chance to

• share your libraries with other developers;
• learn new eComStation technologies and share the knowledge with other developers;
• present own concept of OS development;
• inform developers which software and drivers should be created;

ACPI is updated, the documents, FAQs, troubleshooting are published at the homepage of ACPI

There are troubles with 37 computers only, Please visit the tracker and read the replies to your tickets.

• eComStation may work well, nevertheless make additional tests
• Post bug-reports if you have troubles, econimize your time, collect more logs in advance. Documentation -> How to post bug-report
• We are searching for advanced tester with motherboard based on AMD chipset, AMD X2 CPU (COM-port, serial cable, second PC)
• Debugging PCI Scan. We need advanced tester. With serial cable, debug kernel, 5 hours per day during 2 weeks.
• Do you have troubles with apm.add placed in the middle of config.sys?
• Inform us, does eShutdown work stable for you?
• Test SMP-safe Unicode dll (uconv.dll)
• Does QuadCore work for you? Post bug-reports with description of troubles
